Overseer Mask Sculpture - Dishonored

In the game Dishonored, the Overseers are a militant group within the religious order called The Abbey, sworn to defend against the allies of the Outsider. They are typically depicted wearing their standard-issue jackets and signature gold masks.

This mask was sculpted by hand using Apoxie Sculpt over a Pepakura paper model as a guide for the general shape. The final sculpt was molded and cold cast using brass powder in white resin, giving it a pale gold color. The cold cast was polished with a fine grade steel wool and was then painted and weathered using acrylic and water-soluble oil paints.
